Rewards & Points Policy.

1. Overview

The Exclusive Reviews Rewards Program incentivizes high-quality, verified product reviews by awarding points that can be redeemed for coupons, vouchers, gift cards, and other benefits. This policy governs all aspects of earning, managing, and redeeming reward points.

Participation in the Rewards Program is voluntary and subject to these terms. By earning or redeeming points, you agree to this policy.

2. Earning Points

2.1 Earning Triggers

Points are awarded for the following activities:

2.2 Quality Multipliers

Point awards are scaled based on review quality as assessed by our AI and human moderators:

• Excellent (90-100% quality): 2x base points
• Good (70-89% quality): 1.5x base points
• Standard (50-69% quality): 1x base points
• Minimum (below 50%): 0.5x base points (if approved)

2.3 Trust Score Bonus

Users with a high trust score (built over time through consistent, honest reviewing) may receive additional bonus multipliers. Trust scores are calculated based on review history, proof verification rate, and community feedback.

3. Wallet System

• Every user has a single rewards wallet created upon account registration.
• Wallet displays current balance, lifetime earnings, and transaction history.
• All point transactions (credits, debits, adjustments) are recorded immutably.
• Wallet status can be: Active, Locked (under investigation), or Closed (account terminated).
• Points in a locked wallet cannot be redeemed until the investigation concludes.

4. Redemption

4.1 Redemption Options

Points may be redeemed for:

• Discount Coupons: Percentage or fixed-amount discounts on partner products.
• Cashback Vouchers: Cashback credits with participating retailers.
• Gift Cards: Digital gift cards from supported brands and marketplaces.
• Platform Benefits: Premium features, priority support, or enhanced visibility.

4.2 Redemption Rules

• Minimum redemption threshold: 500 points.
• Redemption requests are processed within 3-5 business days.
• Redeemed points are deducted immediately from your wallet balance.
• Redemption is subject to availability of reward options.
• We reserve the right to verify your identity before processing high-value redemptions.
• Once a redemption is confirmed and the coupon/voucher is delivered, it cannot be reversed back to points.

5. Point Expiry

• Points expire 12 months after the date of account inactivity (no login or review submission).
• Active accounts retain points indefinitely.
• You will receive email reminders at 30 days and 7 days before expiry.
• Once expired, points cannot be reinstated.
• Campaign-specific bonus points may have shorter expiry periods (stated at the time of award).

6. Forfeiture & Adjustments

Points may be forfeited or adjusted in the following circumstances:

• Policy Violation: Points earned through reviews that are later found to violate our Review Policy.
• Fraud: Any fraudulent activity (fake reviews, multiple accounts, manipulation).
• Review Deletion: If you delete a review, associated points are reversed.
• Account Termination: All unredeemed points are forfeited upon account termination for cause.
• System Error: Points credited due to a system error will be corrected.

Before any forfeiture, you will be notified and given an opportunity to respond (except in cases of clear fraud requiring immediate action).

7. Reward Campaigns

From time to time, we may run special reward campaigns offering bonus points, multipliers, or exclusive redemption options. Campaign terms:

• Campaign-specific rules are published at the time of launch.
• Campaigns have defined start and end dates.
• Bonus points from campaigns may have separate expiry rules.
• We reserve the right to modify or cancel campaigns at any time with notice.

8. Tax Implications

Under Indian tax law, rewards and benefits received may be taxable depending on their value and your tax status:

• Reward points themselves have no monetary value until redeemed.
• Redeemed benefits (gift cards, vouchers) exceeding INR 50,000 in aggregate per financial year may attract tax under Section 56(2)(x) of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
• You are solely responsible for reporting and paying any applicable taxes on rewards received.
• We may issue TDS certificates if required by law for high-value redemptions.
• Consult a qualified tax professional for advice specific to your situation.

9. Program Changes

We reserve the right to modify the Rewards Program, including point values, earning triggers, redemption options, and expiry rules. Material changes will be communicated via email and in-app notification at least 14 days in advance. Existing unredeemed points will be honoured under the terms in effect at the time they were earned.

10. Non-Transferability

• Points cannot be transferred between accounts.
• Points cannot be sold, bartered, or exchanged for cash.
• Points are not property and confer no ownership rights.
• Upon death of a user, unredeemed points expire with the account.
